The Weather Channel Interactive Adopts Rapt Monetization Solutions
San Francisco, California — January 17, 2007 —Rapt, a leading provider of pricing and profitability management solutions, announced today that The Weather Channel Interactive, Inc. will adopt components of the Rapt media monetization platform.
Rapt will deploy its Business Director and Price Director software in support of online sales operations for several TWCi properties including weather.com, its new vacation rentals site forGetaway.com, and One Degree, weather.com/onedegree, a site dedicated to global climate change. Rapt will be delivering pricing controls, analytic infrastructure, and data-driven decision support capabilities for the business.
